描述

三碘化铋的多晶薄膜用作医学成像应用中的 β 直接检测器和数字检测器。碘化铋（III）用作冰核剂。它还用于电子显微镜以显示突触。已显示添加三碘化铋可提高 Ge-Te-BiI(3) 硫属化物玻璃的玻璃形成能力和热稳定性。可溶液加工的 BiI3 纳米片已被证明具有在传统 OPV（有机光伏）器件中用作 HTL（空穴传输层）的潜力。
