描述

腺嘌呤对于许多体内和体外生化过程至关重要。腺嘌呤与核糖一起转化为腺苷。在磷酸化时，它形成 AMP、ADP 和 ATP。 ATP 是细胞的能量货币，在细胞新陈代谢过程中是必需的。腺嘌呤被代谢为 2,8-二羟基腺嘌呤，其在近端小管中的积累导致大鼠慢性肾病 (CKD) 的严重贫血。基于腺嘌呤的衍生物引发针对 dsDNA 病毒的抗病毒功能，并被用于生成抗病毒支架。
