十五烷是一种碳氢化合物，在自然界中被发现具有很高的粘性。它是脂肪酸的棕榈酸缩水甘油酯在180-200℃的温度范围内加热时的分解产物。十五烷属于脂肪烃类，被鉴定为迷你型烤猪肉中的挥发性风味成分猪、马黛茶、米兰萨拉米香肠、纯高密度聚乙烯 (HDPE) 等。它作为生产各种产品、溶剂的化学中间体以及汽油和柴油燃料的成分发挥着重要作用。十五烷也被确定为单花希腊柑橘蜂蜜、尼瓦奶酪、煮熟的黑米等中的香气成分。
