描述

最初开发用于治疗癫痫和神经性疼痛的水溶性 GABA 类似物，但据信不作用于相同的脑受体。加巴喷丁与皮质神经元中的电压门控钙通道相互作用。它与 α2δ 亚基（1 和 2）结合，并被发现通过影响中枢神经系统中电压依赖性钙通道的运输，在慢性而非急性应用后减少钙电流。
