氯尿嘧啶（4-氯尿嘧啶；6-氯尿嘧啶）是一种卤代尿嘧啶，可用于研究卤化对核酸碱基对稳定性和碱金属离子亲和力的影响。 6-氯尿嘧啶与 4-(二甲氨基) 吡啶、4-甲基吡啶和吡啶-4-基-吗啉反应生成氯化物形式的吡啶鎓取代的尿嘧啶，通过去质子化将其转化为尿嘧啶吡啶鎓酸盐。这些杂环内消旋甜菜碱是交叉共轭的，因此具有单独的阳离子（吡啶鎓）和阴离子（尿嘧啶）部分。计算和 X 射线单晶分析可用于表征这些系统并将盐与甜菜碱进行比较。
