描述

全反式维甲酸 (ATRA) 是维甲酸受体 (RAR) 和类维甲酸 X 受体 (RXR) 的配体。结合的 RAR 和 RXR 充当转录因子，调节正常和噁性细胞的生长和分化。细胞色素 P450 (CYP) 催化 ATRA 的 4-羟基化。视黄酸使胚胎干细胞成为神经元。
