描述

乙基紫是一种阳离子三芳基甲烷染料，是结晶紫的乙基同系物。它是一种一般的组织学和病理学染色。乙基紫已被用于对胰腺组织和弹性蛋白进行染色，检测革兰氏阴性菌，并作为提取分光光度法测定阴离子表面活性剂的试剂。乙基紫诱导线粒体通透性。已用于铜的萃取和分光光度测定。与阴离子染料锌酮一起，乙基紫用于 SDS-聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳中蛋白质的抗衡离子染料。
