5-(2-Fluorophenyl)-1H-tetrazole is used in the synthetic preparation of novel tetrazole derivatives as positive allosteric modulators of metabotropic glutamate receptors useful in treatment and prevention of CNS diseases and diseases-modulated by mGluR5 receptors.
