Antibiotic A 40926 is an impurity of Dalbavancin (D110000) which is a second-generation lipoglycopeptide antibiotic. It is a semisynthetic lipoglycopeptide that was designed to improve upon the natural glycopeptides currently available, vancomycin and teicoplanin.
