描述

Cholesta-3,5-diene 是一种氧甾醇，一种通过自氧化作用的胆固醇衍生物。氧甾醇是胆固醇稳态的非基因组调节剂。生物学效应包括蛋白质异戊二烯化、细胞凋亡、调节鞘脂代谢和血小板聚集。氧固醇与肝脏 X 受体结合，调节胆固醇流出并减少细胞对胆固醇的吸收。
