描述

溴甲酚紫是一种 pH 指示剂，可将颜色从黄色（低 pH 5.2）变为紫色（高于 pH 6.8）。它主要用作酵母细胞中的荧光染料。它有助于对质膜损伤的细胞进行死细胞计数。具有适当细胞膜的细胞不会被染色，而受损的细胞则被视为蓝灰色的鬼影。
