4-(Dihydroxyborophenyl)acetylene is a reagent used in organic synthesis . It is used in the preparation of purine analogs as PI4K IIIb inhibitors used in cancer treatment. As well, used in the preparation of demethylase inhibitors for their potential as anti-tumor drugs.
