Bicyclo[4.1.0]heptan-2-one (cas# 5771-58-4) is a product of a single step reaction between 2-Cyclohexen-1-one (cas# 930-68-7) and Trimethylsulfoxonium Iodide (cas# 1774-47-6). Bicyclo[4.1.0]heptan-2-one is used for biological research on anti-inflammatory and analgesic potentials of Habenaria digitata.
