1-Bromo-2-cyclohexylethane is a reagent used in the cross-coupling and Grignard reactions. It is used in the synthesis of immunosuppressive agents consisting of 5-phenylalkoxypsoralens as well as agonists for human vitamin-D resistant Rickets.
